Heather Sellers Named CEO

Spring Valley Living Board of Directors is pleased to officially announce the appointment of Heather Sellers as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Heather brings years of experience and a true passion for compassionate care and operational excellence. She first joined Spring Valley Living in 2017 as the Director of Nursing, where she played a vital role in advancing clinical standards and resident-centered care. After that, she took on a leadership role as Administrator at the Care Center in Adams, MN, gaining even more insight into long-term care operations.
In 2020, Heather returned to Spring Valley Living as Vice President of Operations. Since then, she has been behind a number of key initiatives to enhance organizational performance, staff development, and resident satisfaction. Her steady leadership and passion for serving seniors have made a lasting impact across the organization.
“We are thrilled to have Heather step into the CEO role,” said Luan Ruesink, Chair of the Board of Directors. “Her dedication, experience, and heart for this work makes her the ideal leader to guide Spring Valley Living into its next chapter.”
As CEO, Heather will oversee all aspects of Spring Valley Living’s operations and strategic direction, continuing the organization’s mission to provide exceptional care and services to residents and their families. “I am truly honored to take on this role,” said Sellers. “I love this organization, and I’m excited to keep working with our team to make Spring Valley Living an even better place to live, work, and thrive”.
Family Picnic is BACK!
2024 was the year to bring back the Spring Valley Living family picnic! We loved seeing all the families that came to enjoy a supper with their loved ones.
We hosted a Car Show to help celebrate National Skilled Nursing Care Week! Beautiful evening to check out fancy cars!
